Today we did a scavenger hunt of 1960s Civil Rights events, groups, and people. Notes were taken out of the orange textbook and discussed as a group. We also examined the Malcolm X document from the Organization of Afro-American Unity. Please see the notebook at the back of the classroom to pick up the worksheets.

This map shows selected nuclear targets from 1959. The red targets seem to be strategic targets with specific military infrastructures and info listed in link. The blue targets seem to be for "systematic destruction" of cities of interest.
